As I've mentioned before (see here and here) on Friday nights I like to do a little happy dance and cook something that ... shock, horror ... doesn't quite cover all the food groups! Tonight I was planning to make pumpkin scones, then caught a gorgeous whiff of fresh coriander [cilantro] while shopping in Choku Bai Jo. The idea of adding coriander to the scones popped into my head. Then, when I mentioned my idea to the cashier, she handed me some chillis and suggested adding them to the recipe too. The result was fabulous! That quintessentially Australian recipe, pumpkin scones, laced with the flavours of southeast Asia.
