Mini Christmas cakes ... baked!

Back in July I suggested it was time to start soaking fruit and nuts in brandy. Well  voilà! Today I made a bunch of mini Christmas cakes. Aren't they cute?

I used wholemeal flour, but if someone you're baking for has coeliac [celiac] disease or a gluten intolerance, you can replace the wheat flour with rice flour.
