A festival of salads

It has been hot in Canberra lately. Very hot! So when it was our turn to take main course [entrée, if you're in the US] to our friends' house last night, I made two salads rather than the usual hot dish.

Baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado,
nectarines, blue cheese and pecans ...

We're very lucky to have a fabulous organic vege shop, Choku Bai Jo, nearby!
