Paprika mushrooms

Back in 2009 we had the good fortune to travel between Brisbane and Cairns, in Queenslander Class on the Sunlander train. The food was wonderful  fresh, local, and delicious. I love mushrooms anyway, but the ones served for breakfast on the Sunlander were especially spectacular. They were spicy and a little orange in colour, and (lucky for me) when I guessed correctly that paprika was the key ingredient, the nice lady serving breakfast asked the chef what else they contained. You'll need:

button mushrooms
paprika (hot or sweet  as you prefer)
a dash of lemon juice

Fry the mushrooms in the butter and paprika, adding lemon juice and salt to taste.
