Brekkie @ the Purple Pickle

Today is my partner's birthday so we both took the day off work to do some fun stuff. Firstly, he opted for brekkie at the Purple Pickle Cafe at the Australian National University:

He had: French toast, with maple syrup and a side of bacon. Long black.
Comments: Nice.

She had: 'Mezzo' – Tomato, avocado, cracked pepper and pesto on toast. Flat white.
Comments: Delicious!

Mezzo. Mmmmmm.

Of course, the Pickle is only open on week days as it services the uni crowd. But it has good coffee and a nice range of breakfast and lunch options. Worth a visit.

After brekkie we went to see Casablanca at the pictures. What a great movie!
