Brunch @ Raw & Wild, Bowral

Bowral is a handy stopping place if you're driving between Canberra and Sydney. It's about halfway between the two cities and there are plenty of eateries. (It's not cheap though ... be prepared to pay the 'Bowral tax'!)

RAW & WILD Market & Cafe consists of a largish wholefood/organic grocery store with a cafe (open for breakfast and lunch seven days, and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights) out the back. We've popped in a few times for coffee or brekkie.

Today, he had:

Poached eggs on toast with bacon,
chorizo, haloumi and tomato

while she had:

Scrambled eggs with salmon,

feta and olives, on toast

We enjoyed it! I haven't found a menu online but they offer lots of delicious-sounding options, plus specials of the day. The grocery items make interesting browsing too if you have the time and inclination or are looking for a special gift. They have organic products, bulk food bins, fancy teas, beauty products and all sorts of other goodies.
