Sadly, Satis is no more. Today we tried the new café that has taken its place, The Knox. It was pretty good! They're open for brekkie and lunch, seven days a week, and the menu features some lovely locally-inspired options.
He had:
Mexican eggs: spiced braised beans with chorizo
sausage, poached eggs and smoked cheddar, topped
with avocado and served with baked tortillas
She had:
Sweet corn fritters with pea purée, smoked
salmon, poached eggs and roquette
We're glad we went early (8.30 am-ish) as the joint was jumpin' by the time we finished our meals.
