Summer has come to Canberra! We seem to have skipped spring this year and bowled right into summer. Now, I'm not a huge fan of summer – I actually prefer cold weather to hot – but one thing I always look forward to is the greater variety of fresh veges you can get at this time of year. We try to eat local, seasonal foods all year round, and that means adjusting our menu to fit in with whatever's available at the local organic shop. Anyway, to cut a long story short, salad season has arrived!
