Scenes from the Canadian train

The Canadian is a VIA Rail train that runs from Vancouver to Toronto. We caught it from Jasper to Toronto, having already caught the Rocky Mountaineer and various buses from Vancouver to Jasper. It was the longest we'd ever spent on a single sleeper train; three nights on board. As you can see from the photos, much of our time was spent either eating or admiring the passing scenery.

We saw our first (and only) moose out of the dome car! Andrew was gazing out of the window, looking for beaver dams, and spotted a moose trotting through a pond. Cool ;-)
