You can just see the pumpkin fritter peeking out from under the Hollandaise sauce

We've been to Hudson's of Dickson (5 Dickson Place, Dickson, ACT) hundreds of times. Their food and service are consistently good. Today's breakfast was no exception.

He had: The 'Hudson's Breakfast' – poached eggs, bacon, grilled tomato, sautéed mushrooms, toast, small freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee. Comments: Delicious! Crispy bacon. Garlicky mushrooms. Spicy tomatoes. Mmmmm.

She had: 'Pumpkin fritters' – a (flourless) pumpkin fritter, served on bacon, topped with poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce and avocado. Plus a freshly squeezed orange juice. Comments: This is seriously yummy. So artistically arranged, too. I think I'm addicted ...

Hudson's is relaxed, cheerful, and family-friendly. If you find yourself in Canberra, we recommend it! We couldn't find a website for Hudson's of Dickson, but their Facebook page includes menus, if you'd like more info.
