We've just spent four nights in the Snowy Mountains, a couple of hours south of Canberra. It was beautiful there and we had a lovely time. But ... as usual, I'm looking forward to doing some cooking now that we're home. Sydney Markets have a fabulous collection of recipe cards, available for free at various greengrocers and also on their web site. So, having stocked up on fabulous organic veges at Choku Bai Jo a few minutes ago, I'm going to make:
Sweet soy, vegetable and tofu stir-fry tonight,
Garlic roast beetroot, red onion and haloumi salad tomorrow night, and
Thai eggplant curry and black sticky rice pudding on Sunday night.
Can't wait.
P.S. if you ever find yourself in Jindabyne, I recommend Cafe Darya. Fabulous Persian food in a most unexpected location!
